Hi, I’m
Brendon. I’m doing all right, thanks for asking!
I was
born in San Antonio, Texas in 1984, but I’ve been living in New
York since I graduated from Dartmouth, where I wrote a thesis on
representations of youth, space and gender in American crime films and
served as student director of the Dartmouth Film Society.
Since
graduating, I’ve held a number of jobs, some of which I’ve
even liked. I'm currently a first-year student in the MFA filmmaking program at Columbia University.
I used to blog more than I do now. Film school is a bit of a time suck.
I don't tweet, but if I
ever do, it will be here.
Don't hold your breath.
I have
a wonderful girlfriend, Alex. She is awesome. She blogs here.
Some of
my favorite films include Badlands, Imitation of Life, Cria Cuervos, The Night of the Hunter
and Killer of Sheep. |
